Let's start...
(The three of them are on a conference call.)
Nikita smirks and teases, "Adi, you're changing."
Vansh laughs lightly and adds, "Changing? Nah, I'd say he's already changed! I've been watching it happen."
He smiled slightly and asked, "Vansh, what's wrong with you?"
Vansh sighed dramatically, "Aatma jalti hai meri. Mera dost... mere jigar ka tukada... mujhe bhul gaya. Or abhi ek ladki ke peeche bhag raha hai. Saale, tu sab bhul gaya."
(Translation - My soul burns! My best friend... the piece of my heart, has abandoned me and now running after aa girl! You've forgotten everything.)
Nikita laughed, shaking her head. Control your emotions, Vansh. Adi ladka hai or shaadi shuda bhi."
Vansh gasped in mock offence, "Wow, Nikita, kitna ganda dimag hai tumhara."
(Translation - Wow, Nikita! How dirty is your mind?)
He chuckles and says, "Alright, alright, calm down, babaa."
Vansh grumbles and says, "I don't even want to talk to you anymore."
He laughs, and before anyone can reply, the call gets disconnected.
(Later, Kabir walks in.)
He raises an eyebrow and asks, "Kabir, where have you been these days?"
Kabir scratched the back of his head and replied casually, "Busy, boss."
He rolled his eyes, "Forget it. Just get a pack ready. Ever since your bhabhi arrived, we haven't even celebrated. This is unacceptable."
Kabir grinned. "You mean, you haven't celebrated because you've been too busy running after bhabhi?"
He smirked, "Yeah!"
They both laughed and got back to work.
Late at night...
His phone rang, breaking the silence of his room. He glanced at the screen... Isha.
Isha speaks urgently, "Adi, you need to leave for Italy right now. A friend of ours needs your help. He personally requested you... plus, there's a deal you need to finalize."
He caught off guard, and asked, "Right now?"
Isha firmly says, "Yes, right now. I'll handle everything here."
He rubbed his temples, muttering under his breath, "Tum sab kuch to manage kar logi use kon manage karega."
Isha asked, "Did you say something?"
He replied, "No, nothing."
She exhaled impatiently. "You need to be there for 15 days."
He now shocked, exclaims, "What? 15 days?"
She, confused, asked, "Yes. Why? What happened?"
He hesitated for a moment, something stirring in his mind. "Nothing... just like that."
Isha teases and asks, "Adi, since when did you start getting confused?"
He pauses, then says thoughtfully, "Isha... have you ever met someone who just appears out of nowhere, becomes a part of your life, and yet stays completely out of your control?"
Isha frowns and says, "Adi, what are you even saying? I've never heard you talk like this before."
He smirks and says, "Nothing, just asking."
Isha says, "Alright, but you need to leave now."
He exhales sharply, running a hand through his hair. "Okay."
(He stands still for a moment, lost in thought, his mind racing. Then, with a determined expression, he dials Vansh's number.)
The phone rings twice before Vansh picks up. "Adi? What's up?"
He doesn't waste any time. "Vansh, get ready. We're going to Italy."
Vansh, caught off guard, raises an eyebrow. "Wait... what? Right now?"
He sighs. "Yes, but don't ask why. Just come. I'll explain everything later."
Vansh pauses for a moment before replying. "Alright, I'm on my way."
As soon as the call ends, he turns to Kabir. "Kabir, I'm leaving but you'll have to stay back here."
Kabir, instantly concerned, asked, "Boss, you're going alone."
He chuckles, "Kabir, Vansh is coming with me. But I need you here. Look after Dadi and your bhabhi."
Kabir, still worried, says, "Boss, I can't let you go alone like this. You know how unpredictable things can get..."
He let out a small chuckle and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Kabir, I know you care about me, and I appreciate it. But right now, it's more important for you to stay here. I don't think Dara can handle everything alone."
He pauses for a second before adding in a more serious tone. "And don't forget, you have to take 'Baccha' to the university tomorrow. I don't want any mistakes."
Kabir sighs but nods. "But what about Bhabhi's safety?"
He reassures him, "I've already arranged some female security guard. I need you to oversee them, make sure they're well-trained and capable. I don't want any loopholes in security, understood?"
Kabir exhales deeply before nodding. "Alright, Boss."
He nods in approval. "Good. Now gather all the security staff in one place. I'll be there in a minute."
Kabir nods and immediately gets to work.
He watches him leave, his mind still restless but he quickly shakes his head, "Focus, Adi, don't lose yourself." he mutters to himself.
After few minutes,
Controlling his emotions, he walked into Dadi's room, where she is seated comfortably in her chair, while his wife sits nearby, lost in a book.
Seeing her so focused, his lips curl into a faint smile. But before he can say anything. Dadi's stern voice interrupts him. "Adi, didn't I tell you not to come into this room? Then why are you here again?"
He smirks, crossing his arms. "Wow, Dadi, if I came into this room, it's a problem for you. But if your roommate sneaks into my room in the middle of the night, you don't seem to have any problem with that?"
Dadi gives him a sharp, disapproving look.
He sighs, running a hand through his hair, "Seriously, Dadi? Aapki umar ke log apne baccho ka ghar basta hua dekhna chahte hain lekin aap... mera ghar ujad rahi hain."
(Translation - People your age usually wish to see their children settling down and building a happy home, but you... it seems like you want to destroy mine.)
She briefly looks up at him, her expression unreadable, before looking back at her book as if he doesn't exist.
He watches her reaction with interest, his smirk growing. His eyes linger on her for a moment before he finally turns to Dadi.
"Anyway, forget it. I actually came here to tell you something important. I'm going to Italy for 15 days."
Dadi's eyes widened in shock. "Adi, have you completely lost your mind? You just got married two days ago, and now you're leaving?"
He raises an eyebrow, pretending to think. "Ohh... so you actually believe I got married? Because honestly, I don't feel like I did. My dear wife has already made her roommate, and my life is going on as usual. She barely even acknowledged me. And on top of that, both you and my dear wife seem to have a problem whenever I step into this room."
He leans slightly towards her, tilting his head. "So, I figured, why not make things easier for you? Now you can both enjoy yourselves peacefully. At least for the next 15 days, no one will come to disturb you."
He steals a glance at her, waiting for some reaction, but she remains impassive, flipping another page as if his words mean nothing to her.
Dadi sighs, rubbing her forehead. "Adi, stop acting childish. Marriage is about understanding and patience, not these taunts."
He let out a dry laugh. "Patience? Understanding?"
She closes her book with a soft thud, placing it on her lap, but she still doesn't say a word.
He smirks at her silence. "See, Dadi? This is my understanding wife. No arguments, no explanation, nothing. Just pure silence."
He teasingly adds, "Okay, bye, Dadi. And bye Jaan."
(She glares at him in anger, but he just chuckles.)
Dadi stands up and sighs. "Alright, fine! You both talk, I'm leaving. But don't trouble her."
He grins and says, "Ohh... Wow, Dadi, showing sympathy for your Adi? I thought you were so busy gossiping with your new roommate that you forgot about me."
Dadi shakes her head and says, "Alright, then I'll stay."
He laughs and quickly says, "No... No! I was just joking, Dadi."
(Dadi chuckles and leaves the room, closing the door behind her. He turns around his eyes locking onto her.)
(She pretends to read, flipping a page, but he knows she hasn't read a single word.)
He slowly walks over and sits beside her, leaning in slightly. "So, Mrs. Singhania, how long do you plan to keep ignoring your husband?"
She doesn't react. Flips another page of her Book.
He chuckles, leaning closer. "You know, I'm leaving for 15 days. This is your last chance to stop me if you don't want to miss me."
She finally looks at him and rolls her eyes. "In your dreams, Mr. Singhania."
He leans back, enjoying the fire in her eyes. "Ohh... Jaan, you're in my dreams every night. And you're adorable when you're angry."
She gets up from her seat, shooting an angry glare at him. As she turns to leave, he grabs her wrist, and pulls her close, making her collide against his chest. She struggles to free herself, her furious eyes locked onto his, but he only tightens his grip.
He smirked, gazing into her eyes. "Do you really think you can pull away from me without my permission?
Then, his expression softens as he adds, "Forget all this. Whether you miss me or not, Jaan, I will definitely miss you."
He leans in slightly, his voice soft, "Take care of yourself. And please, don't skip your meals. Also, don't overthink... your brain might overheat, baba..."
Her voice trembles slightly as she pleads, "Mr. Singhania, I'm requesting you, please... please let me go to university. I won't go anywhere. I promise. You always say you love me, right? Then how can you do this with me? Please..."
He softly, lifting her chin with his fingers. "I'm sorry, Jaan. I have no choice... I can't do anything about this."
(He stares into her eyes, his voice filled with love.)
"I love you... that's exactly why I can't take any risks with you, Jaan."
She couldn't hold back her emotions any longer and broke down into tears. Seeing her like that, something shifted inside him. His usual teasing smirk faded, replaced by a rare softness. Without a second thought, he pulled her into a warm embrace.
She was still crying, weakly pounding her fists against his chest, her voice shaking with anger and pain. "Aap bahut bure hain, Mr. Singhania. Aap... aap bahut bure hain..."
(Translation - You're so cruel, Mr. Singhania. You... you are so cruel...)
She kept crying, her shoulders trembling, while he held her close, his hand gently stroking her back, trying to calm her down.
"Shh... Jaan, please... don't cry. I can't see... you like this. It hurts me. Just calm down, baba... please..." he whispered, his voice was soft, almost pleading.
He cupped her face with both hands, his thumbs wiping away her tears with the gentleness of someone holding something fragile.
His eyes searched hers as he whispered, "Baccha... I'm sorry. I hurt you. If you want to punish me... hit me, scold me. But please don't cry. You're my strong Sherni, and my Sherni didn't cry, she makes others cry. Hmm?"
She stared into his eyes, her own eyes filled with tears.
He smiled a little and asked softly, "Now, tell me, what happened?"
Between hiccups, she mumbled, "Mr. Singhania... I hate it here. I feel suffocated. I can't breathe in this place."
He sighed, nodding as if he understood her completely. "Alright, Jaan. I'll tell security to let you go out tomorrow. Go anywhere you want. Okay?"
She shook her head angrily. "Forget it! I would rather stay here than go out with your security! I hate them... And I hate you."
He saw the fire in her eyes and couldn't help but smile. She was angry, she was frustrated, but even in her rage, she looked adorable.
"Alright, alright, Baccha." he teased, pinching her nose gently.
She pushed his hand away, pouting like a stubborn child.
He chuckled and pulled her back into his arms, holding her close like she was his most precious treasure.
Just then, Kabir knocks on the door. Inside, her struggles against him, her frustration evident as she glares at him.
She was furious, pushing against his chest. "Mr. Singhania, let me go."
He smirked, tightening his grip around her waist. "Oh? Now you're feeling shy? But a few minutes ago, you were ready to fight me like a warrior."
She glares at him, trying to move away, but he leans slightly, enjoying her flustered state.
She grinned teeth. "I said, leave me."
He chuckled, finally releasing her. "Alright, Jaan."
Just as she steps back, fixing her dupatta angrily, the knock on the door sounds again.
He then turns towards the door and asks, "Who is it?"
Kabir replies from outside, "Boss, you asked for a phone."
He runs a hand through his hair and sighs. "Oh, right! These days, I keep forgetting things, Kabir."
Kabir enters, hands him the phone, and steps out, sensing the thick atmosphere between husband, wife.
He turns back to her, holding the phone out to her with a smirk. "Here. Your precious phone. See? Your husband isn't that bad after all."
She crosses her arms, not taking the phone, and glares at him. "Ohh... wow! Saari duniya se dushmani karane ke baad aap mujhe phone de rahe hain? Iska kya karu main achar dalu?"
(Translation - Ohh. wow! After making enemies with the whole world, you're handing me a phone? What should I do with it? Pickle it?)
He chuckles, shaking his head. "Oh? So you know how to make pickles too? Impressive. Maybe I should ask you to make some for me when I come back."
She scoffs, snatching the phone from his hand. "I am not joking, Mr. Singhania."
He tilts his head, observing her face with amusement. Then, his tone softens as he steps closer. "Anyway... if you ever need me... or should I say, if I need you... just pick up the call."
He gently brushes his fingers against her hand, his touch lingering. "I'm leaving now, Jaan. But tell me, how will I survive so many days without hearing my wife's voice?"
She swallows hard, turning her face away, refusing to meet his eyes.
He let out a small chuckle. "Guess I'll have to take care of myself then, huh?" He lifts her chin slightly with his fingers, forcing her to look at him. "But... don't forget, you are mine."
Her breathes heavily, her heart racing, but she stays silent.
He smirks, taking a step back. "Bye, Jaan. Don't miss your husband too much."
With that, he finally turns and walks toward the door, but just before stepping out, he pauses for a second, glancing over his shoulder. "And yes... don't even think about skipping meals. I'll know."
Stepping out of the room. He composed himself, his face turning serious as he walks downstairs.
Kabir had gathered all the security personnel in the hall. The air was tense, everyone standing in disciplines attention. His sharp eyes scan the group before he speaks in a firm, authoritative tone.
"I am leaving for 15 days, so I don't want a single mistake while I'm gone. Now, along with Dadi, Baccha is also here. So I want everyone on high alert. Take good care of her. If anything happens, even a minor mistake, there will be consequences. Did you all hear me?"
His words sent a chill down the spines of those present. They immediately respond in unison, "Yes, Boss."
"At Vansh's House..."
He paces in the living room, running a hand through his hair before finally turning to his parents.
"Dad, Maa, Adi and I are leaving for Italy for 15 days."
His father's face darkens instantly. "What? Have you both lost your minds? There is already so much tension in the house, and you're planning a trip to Italy?"
He sighed, "Dad, this isn't a vacation, it's important."
His mother steps in, "What is so important, Vansh? Adi got married just two day ago. That girl is alone in new house, and expect him to leave her like this?"
He crosses his arms and huffs in frustration, "Maa, she doesn't want to listen. If I tell him to take her instead of me, will she go. And what's the point of this marriage? She doesn't even talk. What will be by staying here?"
His mother shakes her head, "Beta, tomorrow we have to meet the priest to fix the wedding date, and you're running away?"
He lets out a dry chuckle, "Wow, Maa. You talk like everything is happening according to my wishes. Let's be honest... no one here cares what I want. You all will do what you want anyway. So why should I even argue? Do whatever pleases you. I'm leaving."
Then he leaves the house.
"Later... Amaya's call"
His phone vibrates in his pocket. Seeing Amaya's name flash on the screen, he answers immediately.
"Where are you surgeon?" he asks, without a greeting.
She chuckles softly, "At least ask how I am first."
His voice remains impatient, "Where are you surgeon?"
She sighs, "I'm at the hospital."
Without another word, he hangs up and drives straight to the hospital.
"At the hospital..."
Vansh walks into her cabin without knocking. His presence immediately catches her attention. She was in the middle of checking a patient but stops when she sees him.
She stands up, offering a small smile, "Rathore ji, please have a seat. I'll be with you in just a moment."
He doesn't sit. Instead, he folds his arms and watches as she finishes her check-up. Once done, she turns to him and asks, "How are you?"
He leans forward slightly, his eyes searching hers, "Surgeon, acha nahi hu main. Aap sirf shakal dekh rahi hain, gudd ache nahi hain mere ek bhi nahi, wo dekhiye zra or sochiye."
She raises an eyebrow, "And what exactly do you want me to do about it?"
He smirks, "Let's make a deal... refuse this marriage. Say no, and everything will be fine."
She tilts her head, amused, and then suddenly smiles mischievously. "Alright, let's make a deal mere bacche ke baap ban jaiye."
(Translation - Alright, let's make a deal. Become the father of my child.)
For a moment, silence fills the room. He blinks in shock.
"What?" he exclaims.
He stares at her, his brain struggling to process her words. "What did you just say?"
She leans back against her desk, arms crossed, and smirks. "You heard me, Rathore ji. You want me to refuse the marriage, right? Then let's make a deal... become the father of my child."
He lets out a dry chuckle, running a hand through his hair. "Are you out of your mind, surgeon? What kind of deal is this?"
She shrugs. "The kind that benefits both of us. You get what you want, and I get what I need."
He narrows his eyes. "This is insane. You're playing dirty, surgeon."
She leans slightly. "I learned from the best."
She shakes her head before adds, "Alright, leat it. You should go home and get some rest."
He leans against the desk, smirking slightly. "I'm going to Italy for 15 days."
Her eyes widen. "What? And what about our wedding?"
He tilting his head. "Nahi manegi na aap?"
(Translation - You won't agree to it anyway, right?)
She grales at him but says nothing. He smiles knowingly. "Aren't you going home?"
She glances at the time and nods. "I was just about to leave."
He says gently. "Come on, I'll drop you.
Just as they step out, his phone rings. His mother's name flashes on the screen. He picks up.
"Vansh, where are you, beta?"
I'm at the hospital, Maa, why?"
His mother's voice is urgent. "Beta, cancel your trip. Don't go anywhere."
He frowns. "What? What are you saying, Maa?"
She takes a deep breath. "The priest has given a wedding date... just 10 days from now. So both of you should stay here."
Vansh rubs his forehead. "Maa, Adi is already waiting for me at the airport. How can I cancel now?"
Before he can say anything else, his mother hangs up. He stares at his phone, confused.
Meanwhile, his mother calls Aditya. "Adi beta, neither of you should go. The wedding date has been finalized... It's in 10 days."
He thinks for a moment before replying. "Alright, Maa. I'll go alone. Vansh won't come with me."
His mother protests. "Beta, I asked both of you to stay..."
He cuts her off. "Maa, this is important. That's why I have to go. But don't worry, Vansh will stay back. And yes, make sure to go home and take care of your daughter-in-law."
His mother sighs. "Okay, beta."
Vansh arrives at the airport and finds he is waiting for him.
He looks at him and says, "Vansh, I'm going alone. You're not coming."
He scowls. "Adi, are you crazy? I can't leave you alone."
He placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Vansh, Maa has asked you to stay. It's okay. I'll handle things there."
He thinks for a moment, then sighs. He signals to two of his most trusted guards and says, "Both of you, go with Adi. Stay by his side like his shadow."
The guards nod firmly.
Vansh turns to him, his eyes filled with concern. "Call me wherever you need me."
He nods, and the two brothers share a brief, tight hug. Then, he walks toward his jet, and Vansh watches him leave, a strange feeling settling in his chest.
Next day,
He arrives at his destination and immediately calls Kabir, asking, "Kabir, have the female guards we hired arrived?"
Kabir, still busy instructing them, replies, "Yes, boss, I am guiding them right now and making sure they know their duties properly."
He chuckles and says, "Ohh... Kabir, then do me a favour... take my queen to the university, man. She's really stressed about it."
Kabir smirks and replies, "Boss, you care so much for Bhabhi. Don't worry, I'll handle everything."
He satisfied, cuts the call and immediately dials her number.
As soon as she picks up, he says in a soft voice, "Don't you have to go to the university, Jaan?"
She shocked and confused, says, "What?"
He smiles as he leans back in his seat and replies, "Hmm... The car is waiting outside for you. Stop overthinking and go, fill out your form peacefully."
Before she can respond, he ends the call, leaving her stunned.
After a moment of hesitation, she dials his number again. As soon as he picks up, she softly says, "Thank you, Mr. Singhania."
He smirks, sensing the warmth in her voice, and teasing asks, "Are you missing me?"
She stays silent for few seconds and says, "No, not at all!"
He chuckles, "Liar! You missed me..."
